Inter.net Configuration Changes

New Inter.net Username and Email Address

Your ca.inter.net username and email address have been changed to a new @uniserve.com address. For example if your username was previously johnsmith@ca.inter.net it will now be johnsmith-inter@uniserve.com.
 
Incoming mailserver: pop.uniserve.com
Outgoing mailserver: mail.uniserve.com
 

Dial Up Configuration Instructions

 

Windows XP/Vista/7

  1. Click the start menu.
    • In XP click on the Run button.
    • In Vista or Windows 7 use the search bar.
  2. Type inetcpl.cpl and hit the Enter key.
  3. The Internet Properties window should open, click on the Connections tab.
  4. Select your dial up connection (most likely named Dial up Connection, Uniserve or Axion) and click Settings.
  5. Update your Username to: username@uniserve.com.
  6. Retype your password.
  7. Click OK, and OK again.

 

Mac OS X (Cheetah)/10.1 (Puma)/10.2 (Jaguar)

  1. Click the Apple menu and select System Properties.
  2. Open the network menu.
  3. Ensure Configure is set to your modem.
  4. Select the PPP tab and update the Account Name to: username@uniserve.com.
  5. Retype your password.
  6. Click Save.

 

Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther)/10.4 (Tiger)

  1. Click the Apple menu and select System Properties.
  2. Open the network menu.
  3. Select your modem and click Configure.
  4. Ensure Configure is set to your modem.
  5. Select the PPP tab and update the Account Name to: username@uniserve.com.
  6. Retype your password.
  7. Click Apply Now.

 

Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard)/10.6 (Snow Leopard)

  1. Click the Apple menu and select System Properties.
  2. Open the network menu.
  3. Select your modem on the left side.
  4. Update your Account Name to: username@uniserve.com.
  5. Retype your password.
  6. Click Apply.
