Can I move my domain to your registrar service if I originally registered it somewhere else?
Absolutely! Please fill out our Order Form (.com, .net & .org) and specify that it is a domain transfer. Please note that with the transfer you will not lose any of your already prepaid registration...your order will simply be added to it, ie. if you have 3 months left on your existing registration, after ordering a year from us you will have 1 year and 3 months left.

I have received a bill from Network Solutions, Verisign, Register.com, or InterNIC. Do I need to pay it?
If your domain name was registered through one of these registrars originally you will have pay this bill in order to keep the domain name functioning. If you are not sure who you registrered your domain name through, or you would like to transfer your registration to Uniserve as a registrar please contact us. Uniserve prices for domain name registration are typically cheaper than the competition..
Please note that if your domain has already expired and was registered with Verisign (Network Solutions), you'll need to pay them specifically before you can do anything with your domain, including moving it to another registrar. Verisign (used to be called Network Solutions) is the company that indexes all the .com, .org, .net & .edu domains on the Internet, and they charge separately from the hosting fees on Uniserve. How can I get my site registered with Internet Search Engines?
Submit-It offers pay services for submitting your site to the Search Engines. Their site also has free hints & tips for site submission, as does Promotion 101. In addition, download.com has many shareware and freeware programs available for submitting your site.
Some Search Engines are constantly searching (spidering) for new sites and web content, so it isn't required for you to submit your site to the Engines -- it can speed things up, though, and give you greater Search Engine coverage.
