When the Power light is off, the modem is running a self-diagnostic. When the Power light is on steady, the modem is on. |
| Second Light (Computer with cord) |

Should be lit when the modem is plugged in to your computer and will flash when there is data being transmitted. |
| Third Light (Wall Cable Outlet) |
|
Should be lit when you have a Cable connection and will flash when there is data being transmitted. |
| Fourth Light (Key) |
|
Should be lit if your modem is Locked. Will prevent your internet from working. Press the button marked PipeLock to turn this light off and reenable your Internet connection. |
| Fifth Light (Happy Face) |
|
Not used. |
This modem requires a straight through (Standard) ethernet cable.
